Vance Courtney and Joshua Thompson
Owners
Vance Courtney
Co-Owner and CEO
Vance is a military veteran with over 20 years of experience in IT, systems, and security within the government sector. He built and led elite teams to tackle complex problems with precision and excellence.
As the founder of SOS Home Offers, Vance applies that same discipline and strategic thinking to real estate. He builds systems that drive clarity, consistency, and results. His true passion lies in developing people—creating an environment where his team can lead, grow, and thrive.
Fun Fact: Vance is a board game enthusiast. He loves diving into long strategy sessions with friends and family.
Joshua Thompson
Co-Owner and COO
Joshua has been in the real estate industry for 15 years. This started in small jobs regarding rental properties and house flips. He then advanced to an associate property manager role, overseeing a portfolio of 25 rentals.
Later, his journey with SOS Home Offers would begin as an assistant, where he quickly learned the ins and outs of the company, and all departments. Within a year, he transitioned into a full-time acquisitions agent, helping homeowners sell their properties.
Today, Joshua is partner and co-owner; leading the acquisitions team and managing the day-to-day operations.
Fun Fact: Outside of real estate, Joshua serves as a Youth Pastor and has always been deeply involved in ministry, music, sports, martial arts, and family.
JP Barcenas
IT Specialist
With over 8 years of administrative experience, JP currently serves as the IT specialist at SOS Home Offers.
His background in admin helps him bridge the gap between operations and tech, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. He enjoys solving problems, optimizing systems, and supporting the team so they can stay focused on what they do best.
Fun Fact: JP is a gamer and a proud introvert—he loves getting lost in strategic games and digital adventures. Whether it’s fixing a tech issue or mastering a new game, he brings focus, adaptability, and a love for learning to everything he does.
Stefanie Roper
Transactions Coordinator/
Marketing Manager
Stefanie brings a sharp eye and seasoned problem-solving skills to our team as a Transaction Coordinator. Leveraging 14 years in client services and education within the beauty industry, she built lasting client relationships and trained professionals nationwide.
Stefanie now applies her meticulous approach to seamlessly guiding real estate deals from contract to close. Calm under pressure and adept at handling complex details, she’s known for keeping every transaction smooth and efficient. She also helps out on the marketing side of things to bring brand awareness to the company.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, you’ll find her relaxing at the beach with her son and their sweet dog.
Michael Drawdy
Acquisitions Specialist
Michael brings a diverse background in Audio Engineering and AVL, with hands-on experience across churches, businesses, and live events. He’s also contributed to the family’s interior and exterior painting business, showcasing his strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Now a dedicated acquisitions agent for SOS, Michael connects with sellers to help them over come their home-selling problems and find a solution!
Fun Fact: Michael is an active musician—recording guitar, playing live, and serving in church worship teams. He also enjoys relaxing with a good round of golf.
Chandler Woodward
Driver
Chandler has spent several years working in the service department at Toyota, parts department at BMW and in customer service at Recteq. Through these experiences, he has developed strong skills in serving others, problem-solving, and understanding the importance of teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
He currently works as a driver for SOS Home Offers.
Fun Fact: In his spare time, Chandler enjoys sharpening his chess and guitar skills, attending church on every Sunday with his girlfriend, and watching races and football with his grandpa and girlfriend.
Rose Ramey
Home Buying Specialist
With a background that spans high-stakes management in construction and landscaping to people-first sales in real estate, Rose brings a powerful mix of grit, heart, and real-world experience to the SOS team.
She lives by one simple philosophy: take care of people, and the results will follow. And that shows in everything she does. As a dedicated Home Buying Specialist, Rose connects with sellers on a real level, helping them navigate tough situations with honesty, empathy, and solutions that actually make life easier.
Fun Fact: When she’s off the clock, you’ll probably find her near the water recharging, or spending time with her nine! younger siblings who constantly remind her just how important “home” really is.
Manar Hossam
Data Engineer
With a background that spans high-stakes management in construction and landscaping to people-first sales in real estate, Rose brings a powerful mix of grit, heart, and real-world experience to the SOS team.
Meet Manar, our talented Data Engineer with over two years of experience turning messy data into clean, reliable insights. She’s helped multiple companies eliminate waste, streamline their systems, and optimize lead generation by thoughtfully integrating data from diverse sources.
Fun Fact: Before stepping into the world of data engineering, Manar taught Mathematics to IGCSE students around the globe, so she’s always had a knack for problem-solving and making complex things make sense!
